Athena Lonsdale's Bio

I was born into a hippie family ten years before my only sister at a local clinic just outside Taos, NM. It was a nice balance, being an only child and then having a sibling. Weekly commune pot lucks, building tree forts, making art with my mother and exploring the mountain side daily gave me my first outlets for my creative spirit and enthusiastic personality. The reoccurring themes in my work explores identity, sometimes mine and sometimes others. I'm interested in strong characters, curious moments, and if travel means lost or found.
