Randy Laybourne's Bio

Randy Laybourne lives down in San Diego even with a day job, family and a bit of a commute makes time to get surfing, skate a bit, take some photos and do some art. He originally hails from Western Canada but made his way with work in the skateboarding industry with such companies such as Emerica, Element, New Deal, Spy and Transworld. His current job is with UFC 360 magazine based with the Transworld Skate, Surf and Snow magazines in Carlsbad.

"The art for this year's On Deck board was a bit more simplified than the past couple years. This is my seventh board in support of Montana Skatepark Association and it has been an honor to help. I added a very personal detail at the bottom of the board with simple image of myself holding a my young daughter on my back. I carry her around but with the help of a backpack.
